Default Yamaha Saltwater Series Water Pump

Motor is overheating on the troll at low rpm's, pretty sure my water pump is starting to go. Called Norfolk Marine and they cant even order one til after the 5th of January. Anyone know a place I can pick this up locally, motor is a 99 model.

Nobody seems to stock the part Jason, I left you a message this morning. Were heading out today on the brother-in-laws 25 Seafox to burn some old gas and hopefully put a hook in something. Got about 80 gallons to burn

Sportsmarine on Rt. 17 Newport News most likely has it in stock...you may want to check your thermostat as well...they can stick and give you the same overheat problem..

I have the same motor but a 99, the alarm would go off on the troll. I would cut the key on and off a few time and it would stop. I had my mechanic check it and it was not overheating, maybe an electrical misreading. Good luck...He also said themostat may be sticking

You might try the folks at Shipyard Island Marina. I've found Andy to be extremely helpful and his parts prices are really hard to beat, even with shipping. Good luck. Here is the link.

Ill second Don at Sports Marine. Id rather trailer the 25 miles to sportsmarine than 3 blocks to Bill's marine.
