Default Pork Rind for Deep Drop Bait

Picked up some of these Big Boy Trailer pork rinds. Thought they would make great strip bait for deep dropping for tiles, seabass and even for flounder. Bait thieves at 300-600 feet is a real pain to crank up an empty hook so thinking this will stay on the hook. This one is 10 inches by 2 inches. Comes in different colors. I'm thinking put on your typical squid or meat but put one of these on too in case they steal your meat, they might keep trying to eat the pork rind.

Anyone try these for strip baits?

Yea, I've used them for years too just never tried them in the deep and never ones this big. Going to give it try if we ever get a weather window.

Nope, Sunday is no good Wes....subsiding means they start out bigger than 3-5. Going to wait for slightly warmer temps.

    Hey MIke,
I just took my first crack at homemade Ravioli. YOu are welcome to use them for deep drop baits. I am sure they will stay on the hook!
