NORFOLK ANGLERS CLUB
2008 AWARDS BANQUET

NAC held its Second Annual Awards Banquet Monday, Feb. 9th. Club members got together in good fellowship, told a few fish stories (lies) and made some noise, gave away door prizes and, most importantly, Recognized Club Anglers who had some mighty impressive catches during the 2008 fishing season.

As you can see from the pictures, we Recognized a couple of our Junior Anglers for their fine catch(es) with certificates, trophies and a new rod/reel combo to assist them with their 2009 angling adventures.

Adult Anglers were awarded certificates for individual catches and, for the first time, NAC Recognized Male & Female “Angler(s) of the Year” as well as an “Exceptional Catch” Angler. Congratulations Connie Dawley and Jeff Rhoads as our 2008 Anglers of the Year and to Mark Feltner, our Exceptional Catch Angler.

Many Thanks to those who generously donated door prizes, and, kudos to Martins Restaurant (and crew) for hosting our event.

Thanks Again to the Awards Committee, “JB”, Doug, Tom and Bob for pulling this all together.

Hey John... Thanks for posting the results. Also thanks for heading up the Awards Comittee.

I had a great time at the banquet as did my wife.
