I have 5lbs each color Yellow and Green chart, I had them in the classified section and had no response..email me if your interested...I'll only sell the entire amount...retails for $63.00 per lb.. I'll sell for much much less
I used to dye a fair amount of materials (tying full dress salmon flies drives you to strange places). My advice would be that unless you are looking for something pretty specific or you are doing a lot of material it won't be worth the time and money you would spend. Getting nice bright colors that won't fade away requires high quality dyes and a fair amount of technique.
If you are looking for a new way to spend your winter months, then go for it. If you are tying a few dozen lures, buy some nice tails and get tying. It's kind of like setting up to pour jigheads if you only need a couple dozen.
If you still want to try to dye tails, surf around on the fly tying sites--Veniard dyes are the brand I usually use--
Good luck
Hans
Ted, far out dude! I heard tie-dyed bucktails are like so groovy that they catch all the cool fish. Peace out and happy smoke dude.
