    Default Eastern Shore kayakers

Who here lives on the Eastern Shore or fishes the eastern shore in a Kayak. Myself, Kayak Carl and now Sittin Duck are in Salisbury. Any others? Maybe we could hook up and fish together

I live on the western side but with the good weather forecast I think I am headed east this weekend with my 10 yr old son and two kayaks. We may do some shoreline fishing and some boating, definitely we will do some exploring. This trip we may not make it as far south as Salsbury, but we often fish in the Chrisfield area and it would be great to catch up with others in the future. Of course if there was a hot bite to the south we could be flexible!

I am thinking of spening one night on the road and doing a circut--heading around the top past the Flats, first stop at Herb's tackle to hopefully meet Ele and Herb, fish up there in Northeast MD a while, then head south to wherever we end up. It would be great to know some local kayak fishermen on the shore to catch up with sometime, I hope to do a lot more kayak fishing on the shore this season.

Anyone have plans to fish in tidewater this weekend?

I live on the west side but venture over to the east fairly often (Bay Bridge, Kent Narrows, Miles R., Hoopers) and want to spend more time doing so this next year. I'd definitely be up for some group outings at various localities.

I am from the Glenn Dale, MD area, and you can count me in when getting a group together.

    Carl,

If you don't mind sharing, where do you plan to launch your kayak on the Nanticoke? I fished in springtime in my motorboat near Vienna once a few years back, it was nice, I am wondering if there is an especially good spot to launch kayaks near good fishing areas.

I'll Launch at Phillips landing nice spot and you can keep 2 rock over 28 inches....It's Delaware so you need a Del Lic. to fish but you can launch at Sharptown only about mile an half away....but I wanna be pulled down the river by a huge rock to get the season started
