I am bringing my family to Janes Island in June for a week. My youngest son, 6, is into kayak fishing and I have gotten him some smallies from the yak. He just got his own to share with his brother and I hope to get him something when down at janes island from the yak size does not matter. What species will be prevelant in early june down there. I have started to took at maps and have some ideas in mind. I may also make a scouting trip down this spring. Any general info about camping down there would be appreciated, do's and don't.

There's a launch ramp way up on Barren Creek which will put you out of big water and big boat wakes. Might be a good place for a group to launch from.

count me in guys. i usually launch around lewes de. ( CHSP or broadkill river) trying to get to Wachapreague for some flounder this year. so many places not enough time. picked up a new tarpon 12 and its ready to go. i'll let my wife use the redfish 10 if she wants to go.
