Eastern Shore kayakers

We do want to get some fishing parties going this summer. I have a Fifth Wheel Trailer and we were talking about going down to Hatteras and fishing the sound for specs this spring. We also want to go to the susky flats soon. Carl and sitten duck and myself did go to Janes Island camping and fishing for a weekend last fall and had a great time.

You guys should look up Chris Dollar. He is a guide in Grasonville and does a great deal of light tackle/fly out of kayaks. He knows the area very well, is very reasonably priced and would be a huge help to anyone looking for more info. For those that don't have a rig, I think he has 6 kayaks on a trailer. His number last I called him is 410-991-8468.

I second CD as a great guide, his Yaks are on a trailer and he will meet you at a cool and usually secretive launch ramp!

Hit the shore over the weekend with my 10-yr-old son Brook, it was our first tidewater kayak fishing trip together, we had a lot of fun. I posted a report on the Ches board:

That sounds like fun. Just to make it fair East would spot the West a few fish, cause everyone knows East yakers are much better fisherman.

I live in Severna Park and fished SP bridge and Wye Island, last year. Alway looking for other kayak/fishing locations either side of the bay.

No in May, we'll do Specks and Reds... (so there's no home field advantage) East guys fish Eastern Shore and West guys fish Western shore...
