Thansk for all the help and advice. Had a great time on Marco. Fished long and hard but the wind and the temps were agin me.

Sunday started out looking great, 72 by 9 a.m. and I walked the beach and fished around a jetty. Nothing. Then the wind kicked up -- gusts to about 40 and the temp kept going down. Dropped to about 64. More of the same on Monday, but a little colder. Tried a number of spots in the backcountry and actually got a good-sized snook to follow a fly down at the dam at Isle of Port but he lost interest and that was the closest i came to a fish.

Had a good dinner at snook inn and a grouper sammy at goodland.

We love Marco, we go every yr. the inlaws have a house there. We boat during the day walk to dinner at night, swim and so on. Cant wait to go again at the end of the month.
