Default you need a kid for yard/car/boat clean-up?

i have had up yo two kids 18 yrs. old from riva area working on my yard, car, truck and boat and house for the last 4 days,

essentially, cleaning up yard, cutting tall grass, mulching, fertlizer...etc.

they then vacuumed the car and truck washed and waxed them both,

compounded and waxed the boat with rejex..

    pressure washed house and garage.

they follow directions well, are clean, but you need to know how stuff needs to be done and they will take it from there.

the father also came by to check them out. they live in riva and i don't know how far they will travel.

i got them them initially off craigs list, and the father responded.

i saw a post earlier so i'm just passing it on. bmail/email for contact info.

the wife did feed them.....because they were woking to hard. LOL

Good to hear that some young ones are out there willing to hustle for a few dollars .

Dad stopping by to check up on them says it all - he raised them right.

Most likely doing what my dad did with me and now what I do with my kids.

Driving the kids to a low paying job so they can EARN a few dollars and LEARN some job skills .Teaching them what work is all about at a young age pays off. Handing them cash all the time does not.

We use more in truck fuel then they make but that is not the point .

Tough times require everyone pitching in... so I applaud the family that works hard for survival in these tough times...a family pulling together certainly will succeed.

skip, what you said was positive. only thing i can say is a post on craigs list resulted in good kids, with parental follow-up. i did give detailed instructions. plus, they performed a wide variety of jobs. fyi.....i got about 30 hits on my Craig's list post, i weeded them down based on "gut" instincts. everybody won.
