Fat Smallmouth Upper Potomac

Decided to head down the Potomac Sunday evening near Dam#3 above Harpers Ferry. Latched on to a personal best Smallmouth (19") from the shore on a #2 Silver Blue Fox spinner. Sent him back to get bigger. Caught a couple other largemouth as well. Its good to see the bite back again!

we went sunday.. speights run in suffolk .. ended up with 6 lmb and two big pike ..water temp was 60 by the time we came in .. all fish were caught on chrateusse senkos water was very murky ..one pike was caught on a xrap jerk bait .. biggest bass was 3 lbs two one lbers also .. everything was sm .. i lost a big fish felt his head shaking had him about 4 secs .. how he got off dunno .. lets see some reports fellas ..

Great looking smallie! I also caught my personal best smallie (or at least very close to it) yesterday. It was 19" caught in one of my local tributaries to the Susky.
