Thanks for the info Jamie,
Came over the 95 bridge yesterday afternoon and saw about 30 boats just below the rock island, I'm sure the area between the tracks and the 95 bridge was jammed up, just couldn't see it. Gonna try it this week if the river doesn't start raging. I'm sure it will be a madhouse this weekend!!

thats is where we were anchored last week as well - right between the R/R bridge & the I 95 bridge..... 4 boats total ! Heading back up Tues or Wed ...taking a fly rod this time
Take a rod rigged w/ a Long A or something similar cause there might be some stripers hangin' in there as well! We've caught them all around the bridge til' you had blisters on your hands, no joke. Might be abit early, as that usually happens when the herring get thick.

This is actually a very useful document.
We get shad runs in the York/Sarah Creek area and they are a blast to catch on a fly rod. I have seen them so thick in the creek that it sounds like someone is playing drums on the hull as they run into the boat while getting spooked. I have also had them (I think hickory) jump in the boat.
