    Default Croaker Bite

Looks like the croaker have arrived. Starting around 9:30 PM Friday night caught croaker pretty steady off of my pier on LaGrange Crk. It was still blowing pretty good but reasonably mild with a bright star lit sky and a bright half moon. They were 10-12 inches with a few larger ones mixed in. They were hitting in 4-6' of water taking shrimp mostly with a few coming on blood worms. They preferred shrimp it seemed.

Off the south side of the Rappahannock River just two creeks upstream from Urbanna, Va.
