    Default Pretty work for flounder

Took off from Lynnhaven @ 7am, Brett, printfishguy and Steve Kendall were on board. We had all the bait in the world with us thanks to Steve. Found the Armada immediately and the crew put two in the box in 15 mins. Awesome. Put some more in the box and the bite quit for us at noon so we headed away from the crowd. We got to our next spot and put three more in the box. Total for the day was 8. 25 to 30 shorts. Wind really picked up at 3. Thought about deploying drift socks, but quit instead. Steve survived a shark attack and killer bee frenzy. Pretty work guys. It was great having you guys along.

Mike - thanks for a great trip. Mine are already zip-loc'd. If you get the chance to fish with Mike (southpaw) - take it. He'll put you on the fish.
    Great day on the water.

I am so wanting to get back douwn there but the money is too tight. Tried the James for cats today. Pretty day but my luck with fishing is about the same as my luck finding a job. It was a great day out there none the less

    STX,

For me it was squid & bull minnow combo. That's my confidence bait right now. But don't pass by "fish" strips and flounder belly they caught fish too.

Good job on the keeper flat fish. All we could catch were dinks.
