HI:
I will try both places Wed...4/22/09 if the WIND GODS let me.
I had been doing failry well on decent Sea Bass over 14 inches of late.
I am using my own two(2) hook rig with both hooks having GLOW (three inch sized) plastic attractors,as a starter color UP on the hook. Getting skimmer clams down here is tough. When I do , I 1/4 each clam and make sure I put a thin strip of clam rind on the hooks. That littel bit of clam wiggiling in the current has put more fish in the box than NOT!. HINT... Make sure you also have smoe clam guts(belly) in the hook.
Crush up clam shells. I ALSO USE ANY SHELLS I can find and add WHITE sand to the mix. Mix in a little water to make a paste and your chum is ready. Change squid colors . I go to PINK next then GREEN(CHARTUSE) as a last color.
HINT...HINT...HINT... When you get a Sea bass , cut the top fin off and one(1) side fin. Slap a hook onto and toos o/sidse ona free line or float. When MR.SMOKER comes along, he will eat it up.
HEY, Let us all know if you get into them in good sizes!
