Got out about 9PM on Saturday. I go no bites in the deepest
available water. I did catch two in the shallow water where I say surface feeding activity (miller fly hatch maybe). Also caught five slab sunnies on bass plastics. I had at least a square mile of river to myself.

In the same area I failed to land the best fish I hooked this year.
Lost a 3-4 lber in 1.5 feet of water. She jumped up spit the hook and that was all she wrote. I stumped my foot on the deck of my boat in fustration. I was off the river at 1:00pm.

I rate the the trip an B+ or A-. Try again on another day.

I just know I'll catch the 20 incher thats been alluding me before christmas..
