according to the outdoor report in the paper today the southern atlantic fisheries management council, abbreviated "boneheads", wants to close all deep drop fishing past the 40 fathom line. 240 ft. vmrc's response "let's limit the catch to the point nobody will go anyway, that will get the boneheads off our backs." how many actual fisherman, rec. or charter is in fishery anyway. records are being broken seems to be the rationale for this tragedy. i just bought 2 to 3K worth of off-shore (stimulating the economy) gear. time for a hanging.
This is a bad thing. Why doesn't Lee Tolliver put Jim and Jake and others in an article to put pressure on these IDIOTS! I'll be at the meeting!

They can't enforce an imaginary line 3 miles from the shore. How are they going to enforce one 60 miles offshore?
We're not giving up that easy. Everyone needs to come to Tuesday's meeting and make their voice heard. Please send your written comments if you can't make it. Don't let the VMRC jam this stuff down our throat like the last time. Stand up and fight.
