CAROLINA COUPLES TOURNAMENT - WATEREE

We had our last tournament at Wateree on June 3 before the Championship. We had rain during the day but it ended up pretty with sunshine but hot. Fourteen couples participated. Charles and Janette Rodgers placed FIRST with 12.11 lbs; Al and Angie Fortner placed SECOND with 11.47 lbs; and Bob and Della Kramer placed THIRD with 11.44 lbs. Charles Rodgers had men's big fish of 5.66 lbs and Wanda White had women's big fish of 2.80 lbs. The Club caught a total of 60 fish for 110.94 lbs. Our Championship tournament is scheduled for June 17 at Lake Murray with 16 couples fishing. A cook-out after the tournament has been planned. We have had rain at three tournaments and wind at two.
