OUTSTANDING !! Thanks for the report...

Left crab creek around 4:30 am headed for the cbbt. Fished with Kevin , my neighbor, on the My Turn. Pulled up to the 3rd island and started casting surface plugs around the rocks at the spine. All of a sudden a school of stipers starts fining, nothing but 38" to 42". We caught fish for about an hour before leaving with sore arms. Back home by 8am.

We saw them out there tuesday night but they were real picky on what they would hit.
There was definately something happening this morning... I was in Richmond catching stripers on the James.... very cloudy water... and I've been into some hot striper blitz's before.... but this morning was just insane. Would have been nice if they were all that big though! Typically Richmond striper sizes in my bunch.... 16"-23". Last night I did catch a 28" and a 26" with half a dozen or so others between 21" and 24". Bite was definately on last night and today.
Where was that Richmond Bite?

John,
Glad to hear you guys had some top water light tackle fun.
By the way-Gee thanks a lot for the phone call at 8 am, telling me about sore arms from catching those fish, as I was getting ready to drive my desk in Richmond!
