Fishing for Croaker Sandwiches
Danny, Phillip and myself went fishing yesterday afternoon, hunting the great 12" and better croaker, blue 19" flounder. Started at the M&M with only 1 keeper croaker for Phillip to get dinner. We moved to the bar and not much better. Fort Monroe side of the tunnel...same. Then, after Danny said that the word was flounder at the HRBT on the bay side we made the final stop. 20 flounder later, 16" and less with good ole croaker combo's, doubles Phillip nailed a nice Tayor Blue, 16"....6 hours to get 2 sandwiches for my friend. Wow....where are those 1 lb, croakers I have been reading about? Would a fisherman stretch the truth###$%$^@$%#$...oh well, we had a great time of non stop action...

Some 18in. croakers caught at first light for about 45min. out of Hunnington But not a lot started quick and ended quick slow pick rest of the morning. Should have gave the stripers a try instead i reackon.
Worked the HRBT and flats again today. Got my other croaka and many 16ish flounder. Gulps! on all of them, great day on the water. Croaka Sandwiches was delicious!!!
all the 14 to 19 inch croakers you wanted up in west point today, seemed the 18 to 19 foot depth was the ticket on the edge of the channel.
