fishing offshore in beaufort?????

How is the offshore fishing out of beaufort SC. nov.til april?Thinking about renting a place there in the cooler months, checking out the area and maybe purchase a home. Boat will be using is a 26 regulator to offshore fish from. Don't know much about fishing down there. How far do you have to run out for tuna and wahoo? Is there any fishing sites I can read about fishing the area.
