South & North Carolina Fishing Charts

Hi,

I am looking for some recomendations on local fishing charts for the Carolinas. I am interested in offshore fishing spots. I enjoy fishing for all offshore species as well as kingfish. All suggestions appreciated. [smile]

Some of the best charts with the most GPS and Loran numbers are Nautical Publications, Maps Unique and Sea Lake charts.The Sea Lake charts are the easiest to read, but only go out to 25 miles. They have both GPS and Loran numbers as well as bearings and distances from one reef to another. They are very helpful. The Nautical Publications are the second easiest to use. They will usually go 60 miles offshore with GPS and Loran numbers on each reef. Maps Unique show more live bottom and low and high relief that the other two.
