WOW, great shot. Can you also post similar, closer in shots of DB and IRI?
Not sure if this is still of any interest for the Del board, but here is a copy of my post o the Chesapeake board:
Dispite availability of satellite pictures from the other source (http://rapidfire.sci.gsfc.nasa.gov/subsets/?AERONET_Wallops), I got several requests to keep making and posting the images as I did before. Also, by popular request, the Delaware Bay and the atlantic coast is in the picture as well.
For those of you who say (or think) that I get my pictures from the same source, I would like to point out that the Aeronet pics have state border lines on them, while mine show the actual color of the land in the same pixels, so they cannot be derived from the Aeronet pictures. Also, if you check the relative color of known objects (for example, the area in city of Baltimore above downtown) you will see that my pictures are color-calibrated, while Aeroet pictures are not. As it has been said before, I spend way too much time with the computer and not enough time fishing.
As I have predicted before, there is very little improvement in water clarity at this point, if any. I do not expect it to clear for at least another week, but most likely two. Right now the mud spreaded down almost as far as Potomac.

Dennis, thanks for the picture, its GREAT to see the mud dispersion into the water.
Dennis, Thanks for posting this. Although it does show a lot of dirty water, it also shows very clearly that there are some areas of the lower bay with water that is much cleaner. I look forward to your continued posts.
Tom
