Indian River Inlet/Old Grounds 6/4 & 6/5

Trailered down with the kids and Trish Saturday and decided to fish the Inlet late afternoon , had a strong incoming, drifted and picked up some good sized blues 2-8 lbs, had some working birds with some 2-3 lbs with them, picked up one nice striper at 20 lbs, kept about 20 of the blues, used alot of lures, green mister tristers working well, caught the striper on minnow squid combo?, Sunday headed out to the Old Grounds/B bouy area looking for some Sea Bass, and found them, nice steady drift, using bottom rigs with squid/minnow, fished from 1100-1700, musta caught 150-200 bass, kept about 30, a nice steady bite, the bass did have these nice little crabs in their tummies that when put back on the hook, usually yeilded larger fish, had 5 throwback flounder and some robins and a few dogfish, beautiful day out and not too bad of drive home. spent monday morning cleaning up the boat and vacumm sealing. catch them whtile there there.
