    Default Cape Henlopen

Got to fish the beach at Henlopen Monday and had a good day. Used a combo of bloodworm Fishbites and shrimp and caught lots of croakers even in the rough surf. Beach was wide open and great fun for the family. Only mistake I made was not to bring a cooler to keep some fish, won't happen next time. Lance.[smile]

Lance, thanks for the report. I walk the beach in Henlopen a couple evenings a week w/ my dog. Been meaning to take the truck on the beach. I need to assemble the necessary beach driving equipment. I often see fish breaking the surface and wish I had brought a rod.

ReefRunner, pretty easy to put together. The tag is $50.00(resident) which you can get at Cape Henlopen. Then all you need is a tow rope, tire jack, board, shovel, and air pressure guage and you're set. Just rember to allways air down to about 18-20# and be in 4WD. Air stations air located where you enter or exit beach. Good luck, Lance.[smile]
