WOW what a trip!!! We headed out at 3pm Saturday just in time to catch high tide. Decided to try for tog before the tide changed, and we just tore them up on a deep water wreck. Sand fleas seemed to work best, but also caught them on green crabs, and clams. Landed 30+ in just over an hour. Then headed to the ice breakers, and set up drifts between the breakers, and outter wall on the ledge, and caught 3 flounder (1 keeper), croaker, kingfish, spot, trout, and of course alot of dogfish. We were back at the dock by 8:30. Sunday headed out at 5:30AM. Low tide was at 9:45 or so. So we decided to try the inner wall hole on the north side for croakers. Another awesome place. Ended up with 80+ croakers, and countless dogfish. At 9 headed out to the deep water wreck to try to get more tog. Ended up catching 5 tog, and 2 trigger fish. We left, and were back at the dock by 12:15. Total bring home for the weekend was 11 tog, 56 croaker, 2 trigger fish, and 1 flounder. Not to shabby for 3 of us. Can't wait to get back out.

Just a note. These were the first trigger fish I've ever caught. 1 thing is watch out they are NASTY, and have sharp grinding teeth. 2nd thing is they taste GREAT. Had a tog, trigger, and flounder dinner last night.

Travis, Good talking to you on Sunday. Sounds like you have saltwater bug. Watch out it only gets worse, more and bigger fish. Sounds like you getting around pretty good, but we'll have to get you down south and then see what happens.[grin] Jack
