I hope it is not rude to piggy back in on this thread, but I too would like to have this information. Specifically, who carries fresh LY from Lewes to IRI?

I'm a big fan of Lewes Harbor Baut Shop. Good seledtion, and good people. Bill's has a good selection, but those guys are full of BS, and often have a poor attitude. Was there this morning, and the guy got mad because he had to go into the freezer for clams. Just would be better without the attitude. Cedar Creek has a little bait shop that has a good bait selection. Also Old Inlet is a good place too.

I like to go to Bill's. They are full of BS but that's part of fishing. Never had a attitude with me, sorry to hear that Posse. When I start fishing the fall striper run down there will say something to Bill.[sad]

I like the yellow shack (not even sure of the name of the bait shop) on Rt.9 just off Rt. 1 when you turn to go to Lewes. They have the best green crabs and often have live sand fleas when Bill's and Lewes Harbor do not. Guess you can tell I tog fish. They have an impressive amount of bait and tackle for the little shop that it is. Bill's would be my second choice for bait, but has more tackle selection.

Hey guys, There/s a new tackle shop on RT 9 past the yellow shack on the left side. I think the name of the place is Bob/s. He seems like a nice guy and the baits are nice.He always treated us ok. frogman

Henlopen B&T is top shelf in my book "the little yellow shack on the right on the way inte Lewes"[wink]

In addition to the place in Lewes harbor, which is excellent..
Up north Ocean Pro on rt. 13 near Townsend/Odessa is a nice shop for tackle.
For live bait you can't beat Smith's in Leipsic. Always have nice sized minnows, live ripe peelers, soft-shells, and eels. Decent supply of typical D-Bay rigs on hand also.

Henlopen Bait and Tackle, (Yellow Shack) in Lewes, if looking for fresh bait, local fishing knowledge, good prices, and true customer appreciation. If looking for quality gear, rods/reels/etc. Old Inlet has it. If I come up there and fish Lewes area, Henlopen Bait and Tackle is the best choice! It is a small shop, but seems to have the right stuff you are looking for, for a good days fishing. Old Inlet by far has more quantity, because he caters to all needs.
