    Default HI Monday Report

Headed out of HI on the Eureka at 6. Ended up just south of the point in 120' of water working a weed line... worked it hard and landed two Mahi (one bailer, one gaffer) and lots of short strikes... one round they cleaned every ballyhoo off of 6 rigs! Headed south to the Rockpile and picked up one more gaffer. Weather picked up and we worked our way back to the inlet by 3 PM.

Back out today, leaving HI by 7 if I hurry... Looks like a half day with the wind reports for this afternoon. We are on the Eureka, 23' World Cat. Monitoring 80 and 88...

    Back at it!!

Maybe he's talking about the tip of Cape Hatteras, surf fisherman call it Cape Point, 20 fathoms would make sense there.

I was kinda thinking the same thing? From the Point to Rock Pile is a hump for sure. Last few reports I had from the weekend down by the 280 was decent mahi fishing as of Sunday.
