painting a boat
i am thinking of getting an old 1968 mfg to use for crabbing the hull is in great shape but the top needs to be painted is it as easy as go buy some marine paint ond do it? spray paint or brush on wouldnt even care but it is a dirt brown color thanks for any help
Not a hard job at all, best done with a good grade of marine paint,
I used interlux brightside on the hull & interdeck on the deck, easy to apply & good long lasting results,
all the info that you will need is on their website
yachtpaint.com - the official site of International and Interlux paints
i second interlux brightside. get some sandpaper, thinner and the interlux primer and get to it! sand, wash with thinner, prime, sand, wipe down, paint, sand, wipe down, paint, admire a job well done!!
