Thank you for taking time to post report.Gonna take CHESSIE there next week, see if you guys missed anything! Maybe a few flatties excaped your Gulps.
Fish Scales and myself started out at the WT2 buoy and drifted along the edge half way to 42 buoy. We had a few throwbacks and some nice croakers. Next drift was north of the Cell structure and that produced some more croakers but no flounder. Decided to drift the edge between WT2 and 42 again and we got a 23" - 4 1/2 lb. flounder and some more shorts. Beautiful day and we were blessed with a decent drift and a good mess of fish. Gulp produced the best and color didn't seem to matter. (Berkley should start to work on perfumes and cologne)![]()

BT,
Glad to hear you had a good day. The flounder have not been so great this year. Waiting to get a day to go.

BT and glad to see you are giving the spades a break - trying to hear over there this weekend - 3 year old and six month old seem to be putting up a good deterrent to getting across these days but the two boys are catching fish ( OK bait in the old 12 hours at 42 flounder fishing days ) with me off of Gwynn's.
Been out in the yak a few times off of Gwynn's, the 5 am launches and back at 7:30 seem to be a better plan right now - and now that we have a little concrete block shack on the bayside of the island I have years to figure it out - or figure it out and then forget it and then figure it out again a few cycles.
C'mon now Frank, we know you been catching.
