Default Not Happy with Fish Tales

I was always happy with the old PSF forum and it was simplier to get into. Today is the first time I have been able to get on this new forum. But no one likes change I quess but after looking at the dates of entry to this forum it looks like it is no where near the entries the old forum had. I know it is a lot of work for someone but the PSF has always been a tight group of local fisherman and this has dislocated our information because we are now lost in the larger group of whoevers. This is only one mans opinion but please go back to the old fish tales because I miss the guys.

Default I have the same opinion

The old chat board was more in tune with PSG.

Hi guys; not disagreeing with you; but PEREB has 2 posts to his name; NRHUFF926 has 3 posts; and Pop. Pleasure has 18 posts. I used both boards when they were available and I agree the PSG board was less intimidating and down to earth.
The trick for me was to read lots of posts on the Chesapeake site and find several guys that not only fished the way I fished, but seemed to have the same kind of success. I've gotten to know these guys and we fish together occassionally. I look for their posts since I trust them to be accurate. I can Private Mail them for more detailed information if needed. I also look for guys with boats similar to mine; I know they will be fishing the same type of wind and weather conditions as I. It's great to read the posts of the TF'er superstars, but I get just as much info from the six or seven guys I fish with.
Give it some time. I have a 22 ft walkaround that is wet slipped on Bodkin Creek until mid Nov. when I will be trailering to the return of the big rock. If I can be of any help; send a private message to me. I'm headed out tomorrow morning from Sandy Point on a friends boat and headed to the mouth of eastern bay (we did well last week livelinning here). We will have wind and tide in the same direction until 11 am so I'm hopeing for the best. I hope it stays cloudy tonight so the rock don't feed on the nearly full moon. I'm looking for hungry rock. Wish me luck. 5th (Marty)

Went down to the mouth of the eastern bay this morning. Set up in 30 ft of water (where they were last week). We saw very little on the finder. Gave it about 45 minutes and saw some charter boats further up in the mouth. Ran up with them in 19 ft of water and picked up a couple of 24 in. fish about an hour before low tide (10-11 am). If you go this far down, use some binoculars to locate the charters. Livelined with rather large spot (7-8 inches). Some blues around to harrass the spot, but caught more rock than blues. Put out two on bobbers 15 ft down, and two freelined. Both setups worked well. 5th (Marty)

I missed the Stripers today but loaded up on the hardheads and blues just north of the magothy....Can't complain, the blues can be a heck of a lot of fun to catch and the croakers were decent sized 15 or so inches and made it fun !
