There has been a good bite for keeper Rock - 18-32 inches since mid July and it should only get better.
Live Spot are deadly for Rock and do not be afraid to use the bigger sized ones. No doubt the 3-5 inchers are best but up to 11 inches will work.
Don't be surprised to find a 26 inch Rock taking a 9 inch Spot.
Podickery Point has been good - 22-30 feet on the edges.
One easy spot to fish is Baltimore or Sandy Point lighthouses. Best early morning or near dark. Just gently cast an unweighted Spot within a foot of the light and let it swim around. The Sewer pipe is another good area - evening best.
The bobbers from BFG are killer and a lot of fun. Use a 3/4 oz weight and try 15-20 feet down.
Be sure to use frisky Spot - rebait every ten minutes.
What could be more mundane than dying of old age or of natural causes when there is death by misadventure to be pursued ? Skip
