where the hell you find a prop for $90 bucks lol. I just had to replace mine and cheapest i could find was 140
WOW. interesting day. Had a family reunion and needed some crabs so headed to ENSP to launch and hopefully fill a basket. Things were going pretty good early then lost my prop!Thankfully had a second on board but no nut to secure the prop. Still not sure how it came off. Found a hose clamp and was able to get the spare prop on snug and pick up gear. It was a shame but better safe than sorry. Pleasure traffic was really picking up and there was a good NE chop so decided to limp back in slow and call it a day. Hat's off to my brother-in-law that leaned over the outboard in 2-foot chop with all the pleasure boat wake and "improvised" the prop attachment to get us in. Once back to the ramp safe, a quick praise then up to get the trailer. On the way up saw a sailboat that caught his beam and sail in the trees coming in and was done for the day before they even got started. At Least we were able to get some and made it back. Ended with just under shy of a full basket but all nice crabs. Lot's of females of good size.
Final tally: $90.00 prop gone, $18.00 in gas, $8.00 bait, $10.00 launch fee. Hmmmm. Could have got a bushel from someone and just stayed home but still worth the effort. Family from out of state got a kick out of my efforts. Good times and good people.

Maybe E-Bay
A buddy of mine works for a marine supply outfit.
Hope you didn't keep the female crabs ? ?
Kudos for even having a spare prop onboard!
riptide,
Sorry that did look a little suspicious the way I phrased it. No females were kept I was just surprised at the size of most females that were caught. All went back into the drink.
