Yella Bellies are Here

I took a group out Saturday Morning that wanted to catch some big Spot.
Another Captain had given me some some intel. about a great catch the day
before in the area of the Pickle Factory. I headed there to start the day. We were catching
#1 Yellow Bellies as soon as the lines went in! This continued for about 2 hours and then
the bite stopped like somone flipped a switch. We then moved down to Butlers Hole and
the bite was back on again. We didn't have to move again the rest of the day.We
ended the day with a 94 quart cooler full of big Spot and a tired crew.
I hope the conditions stay right for these fish to hang around until Rockfish Season!

Good to know Tom. But I don't want the yellow bellies when rockfish season starts, I like the small ones for bait
