350 Mercruiser EFI conversion

Does anybody know if there is such a kit for older carbed models, before going through old carb? Saw a electronic ignition kit, got to have that. I think the motor is an 85 fresh water cooled.

Edelbrock makes them for some engines but they are pricey & probably not marine rated


you would be better off replacing motor with efi motor

Best bet is probably to go to a marine salvage yard. If they have a destroyed block they'll probably let you cannibalize the parts you need. Edelbrock, MSD, and the others may not be marine certified - or would be very expensive because they"ll say "marine".
