While I'm not in a hurry...I am looking for a 19' or 21' carolina skiff in good condition - I plan to convert whatever it is in to a boat that that will be used exclusively for trotlining for crabs - with or without a dipper.( I already own a S/S dipper) Late model boat with motor and trailer is what I'm looking for and it does not need the gingerbread most CS will have - I.e. bow or stern rails, seats, or a medium to large center console - doesn't mean I wouldn't buy a boat with those features... but I'd most likely remove them. If anyone knows of such a boat especially in the Bel Air area let me know. Thanks

Lucky Leprechaun
I have the 2180 DLX Carolina Skiff and it is set up for crabbing. The console is set off to the Starboard side and I have the roller that goes into the piece of PVC pipe I have mounted on the console. Give me a call if this is something that you may be interested in. It is in great shape and I have a lot of extras. In fact I will give you all of my crabbing stuff to go along with it.

What! Are you selling the bathtub!!!..........Gary
If I can find the CS I want the BATHTUB (aka Dirty Girl) will be put up for sale - 17' CS, 40 hp four stroke mercury, beefy Load Rite Trailer, line puller, (dipper if someone wants to buy it) small strarboard console with no-feedback steering, front deck for stowage, DF, GPS, etc.
She has caught gobs of crabs and is a very economical rig to operate but... I need more room. I'm ,hopefully, going to retire next year and get a bit more serious about crabbing like three or four day a week. BUT FIRST - I have to find another boat.
Otherwise she will crab with me next summer as well.![]()
