Default Adding sting-ray hydrofoil to motor

I recently put one of these on my boat, a 1992 proline 230 WA with engine bracket. The original motor was a 2 stroke yamaha 225. Repowered to a 200 suzuki 4 stroke a few years ago. The extra weight of the 4 stroke on that bracket really screwed up the trim and made the boat ass-heavy. I added one of these recently and it really helped out. Creates alot of lift back there and got the trim right. Best $50 bucks ever spent on the boat.

If you get one, get the ones that bolt to the motor (where you drill holes). The clamp on ones are more expensive and suck. The clamping thing is really crappy.

Drilling and installing dolefins on a Merc voids some of the warranty. Be careful
