    Anyone with a carolina skiff or similiar type have any suggestions for a 2 pile elevator style boat lift?

    Call the boat lift people who do this for a living - they can tell you everything you need to know including cost.

    That's where I started. I have a few ideas but personal experience is always appreciated. There are several different side lifts on the market, each with its own peculiararities. Thanks though.

    Is it a small skiff? If so, just buy one of these and drive/pull the boat onto the dock. This brand is less exensive than jetdock. I keep a 13 Whaler on one. Then you don't have to mess with power and corrosion and all that.
