Waiting till Tuseaday ... but would appreciate a report
We left Broad Creek around 1:30 today. We put out lines as we cleared the Green 1 marker for Broad Creek and had two fish on within 1 minute. Both were 14 inches. We trolled to the bridge and had no more hits however. We had no trouble in the river and saw no floating debris however.
I'm fishing out of Fleets Bay tomorrow morning. Hope there isn't alot of fog. Going with my neighbor in his boat. I haven't been trolling this year as my boat is in dry dock getting a new lower unit. I'll let you know what we do.

We will be heading out to Fleets Bay in the morning...but have no expectations of repeating last Tuesday's epic afternoon. Charlie, thanks again for the report. All is well on the Antipoison. Some of my friends over on the Middlesex side didn't fare so well, however. Nonetheless, I had to haul my Whaler up to jett's this morning to replace a lower unit. Good luck on Sunday...we'll be out there on Paradux.
Can`t wait any longer going out on my buddys boat out of lewisetta in the morning. Hope to post pic`s tomorrow evening![]()
Hopeing for Monday trip
I know the storm was no fun for anyone. If anyone needs any pier work done, I work from Northumberland to Middlesex, based in White Stone. We can get your repairs done quick and cheap, and offer credit card options for your convenience. Also, if you have a sunken boat, we can probable get it up for you and possibly save the motor. On another not if anyone is missing a conoe on tabbs creek, I saw one half floating at the very end of the creek. I can be contacted at the office at 804-435-0552, ask for Bill with Docks and Boatlifts of VA.
Had to work for um today. Worked from the whitestone bridge to the bay. Nothing. Fog was thick til about 11 this morning. If you didn't have a gps, you weren't going far. Did not see much bait in the river. Finally decided to make the run to 2r and finally got our 2 man limit at 2:00. Biggest was 23 and smallest 19. All in all, a beautiful day on the water once the fog lifted. No trash in the water either.
I fished today. The water was clean, no issues.
The fish were biting, but slow. One here and there.
Fished along the mouth of Rap, both sides.
More hookups on Stingray point side, 25 feet of water, Chartruse (SP) bucktails.
Size ranged from 19 to 24 for me.
