Sunday on the Piankatank R2 area

Rode down to the Piankatank to check on the boat. Found a few sticks in the yard, thats all. Checked the boat and everything was good on the water. Looks like the water was ~14 inches over the pier. So I rode down to the marinas around Deltaville and saw little damage. Stingray Point had some trees down and one of the houses on the point was missing a lot of vinyl siding, so I rode down to the beach on Stingray and could not believe how calm the bay was so I headed back to the house and took the boat out for awhile. Water color was good and I saw nothing in the water as I headed to the R2 area.
A few boats over there so I fished for a couple of hours but had no luck. Great day to be on the water and a complete shock to me the conditions. Wasn't expecting this great bonus day!

Weather station had 5.49" of rain and a wind gust of 59mph.
