    Ben,

How would you be planning to get to HI? I hear a portion of NC12 is out except for a 1-lane 4WD strip...don't know how long it is or in what condition...might not be great trailering a heavy boat. Otherwise, it's a ferry ride. Supposedly, it will be at least a couple of weeks before road repairs are complete.

Good luck if you make it out.

    Bill,
Ill be in touch with some friends down along that line to see how the roads are but wanting to go more for the OI tuna bite.

Thanks for the concern Lou you know this isnt my first rodeo and Im watching all weather models that I can. I feel I can make as good of a weather predictions as the rest of us. Im just trying to get a crew lined up and if the wx turns bad, the trip can be cancelled. Thanks again for your concern.

Danny...bring on the HO'S!!! Remember that 4 hour window we jigged last winter hahaha. Man that was pretty weather for a half day in between 25kts!

Hey Ben. NC 12 is still closed to all traffic except 4x4. DOT has not given an ETA on getting it fixed. Looks like OI and some TUNAS!!

    Good luck!

I just got word that NC 12 is now open to all traffic, although it narrows to one lane around Rodanthe...
