Kat-Tales... if you have him figured out that much just go kill him. You can get that question answered later.
I have been eyeing a big buck this past year but just havent gotten close enough yet. I know his new pattern with the season in full swing. My question has to do with his water source. I am convinced he is drinking brackish water. Is this possible?

You got him figured out but can't get close to him.Well, If you are in Md the gun season starts Saturday and that will change everything
.........good luck.........Gary
OK here is the deal, I don't normaly offer my services but,,,, Just tell me where he is and when you see him. I will follow him around a little bit for you and let you know what he did after I shot him.
Brackish water, sure but not the main source of water.

POKE HIM IN THE EYE!! POKE HIM IN THE EYE!!
Man you guys are tough.......so they will drink brackish water just not preffered is what I heard? Must be drinking fresh at night> I have watched him bed on 5/6 occasions in large reeds near river and not leave all day as far as I can tell> Shotgun season and out of range no matter how I switch it up. I will post the pic soon enough
There is more water in the woods than you think. Especially this year. He's probably not drinking brackish warer.
With a title of BIG ONE I thought there would at least be a picture of a deer. When you get him post a pic....... Walt
Who in the hec cares what he is drinking, seems like your a little to in depth with this deer.......just shoot him and post a picture
fishermans island off of cape charles is loaded with deer 24/7 i don't know of any freshwater within 10 miles of the island and t really mean it when i say it is loaded with deer.
Yeah I agree you guys are a tough crowd. But I also agree that the brackish water is probably not the best for his health, I would go ahead and kill him before he does something to damages one of his major organs......
