Friday Fishing Report

Slept in to help get the toddler ready, so I didn’t put in until 8:30 today. Met my Dad at Longwood with plans to steam down to Butchers. Didn’t make it much past the no-wake buoys at the ramp cove when we put lines out. Landed our biggest 29.5 inch fish and a few others right off the bat. Eventually rode down to Buckhorn and caught fish steadily until we left at 3:30. Most fish caught from the mouth to the very back of Buckhorn. Water was 52 to 54. Ended up with 20 fish for the day all caught on live bait free lined. Most fish came on the ultra-light rods….what a way to celebrate Dad’s birthday!
