    Default Parker 21 se

Anyone on the board trotline out of a Parker 21 se? Seems like it would be a great crabbing boat but just want some feedback.

That boat is way too good to use for trotlining! It'll definitely do the job and do it well, however, it'll take a beating resulting in scratches, chips, gouges and every other kind of malady that will make it look like it's been through a tough war. Unless it's a battle wagon now I would reconsider using it. This goes for any boat in decent shape. Crabbing will take it's toll on the beauty of the boat.

    Happy New Year!

recreationally. Wont be crabbing a lot so not to worried about beating it up. The are beautiful boats. The one I got is the blue/green hull at Tri State. Could not be happier! Also I will have a great 17CC for sale in the near future, I'll have an ad up in a week.

It will be fine for your intentions. Potters are the ones that really bang up the boats. You will mostly have to worry about the mud from the line as you wind it in.
