    Default Severn Conditions

We're getting out on the water this weekend for some pickerel (hopefully). Any ice on the salt ponds and creeks? Any info is appreciated...

    Thanks,

noticed on the way into work this morning on Rt. 50 that the upper-South River still has a fair amount of skim ice. Accordingly, I suspect that the upper-Severn, and upper-reaches of some Severn creeks, are the same way or worse. With any luck, maybe I'll finally have a chance to find out this weekend.

I went over Weems creek Friday 22nd. It is open to the river except for skim ice on the backs of some coves.

The main river between the bridges was open.

If you get out FWIW- often the south side of the creek/cove is a few degrees warmer.
