Default Heading down to Charleston area end of March, first week of April

Taking the family to Charleston the first week of April for kids spring break. Going to drag the Hobie kayaks down and try some fishing. Any one have any advice for fishing that time of the year? Also, any recommendations on light tackle/fly fishing guides in the area.
My son and I were also thinking of slipping in a bowhunt for pigs, if the season was open and there was land available for a pig hunt. Any advice on that would be helpful as well.
    Thanks
    Ken

its tough to bowhunt for hogs that time of year. Turkey season is in so there is no corning allowed. Killing a hog in the swaps of the low country with a bow and no corn is nearly impossible. Plus you will fight off millions of skeeters and cotton mouths. My advise would be stick to the fishing things should be starting to heat up
