Funeral Arrangements for Savannah

Dear Friends,

Savannah’s funeral service will be held on Monday, March 15, 2010 at St. Alban’s Episcopal Church in Washington, DC at 11 am. There will be a brief reception in St. Alban’s following this service.

Also note that Father John of the nearby St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral at 36th & Massachusetts Ave where Savannah was to attend “Little Graces” morning play group this year has authorized us to use their parking lot for our service – see http://www.saintsophiawashington.org...directions.php .

Many of you have asked where to send flowers and other items. While we appreciate your offers, we ask that you instead make a donation to the non-profit CADE Foundation via the website we set up in honor of Savannah – see http://www.firstgiving.com/savannahcarolinepereira .

The CADE Foundation provides educational and other services to families struggling to overcome fertility issues in their efforts to have a child – see http://www.cadefoundation.org/ . They partner with Shady Grove Fertility Center who were wonderful in helping us conceive Savannah, and we can think of no better use of any funds from friends and family in memory of our dear baby Savannah. Perhaps others will be blessed with a child through your contribution.

I wish I would have seen this earlier would have liked to be there to support you!! I saw Tom at church yesterday; you are in our prayers. I hope we can talk sometime soon.
