Same thing for us. About 1pm i said the hell with it and ran up there. Abt the 460 i pulled the throttles back and marked the schools, dropped two jigs, Landed two fish and went home. Thats the way it goes.

Fished between the 230 and 300 all day... No marks, no fish.. We managed one lonely yellowfin on a spreader bar.. Nice day weather wise.. We couldn't even mark bottom fish... Should have went out of OI, heard they got em good to the north... It was just to far of a run... Oh well, maybe next time...

I fished on the Big Easy, more or less in the same area. We got 5 yellowfins. Weather was great.
Great time on the tat tuna with Rudy and Jason. They worked there butts off to get those two bluefin, being skunked is not a option with those two. Great day on the water.

Sorry to hear that Barry. 430 north overboard. I was supprised how many trailer boats sailed from HI instead of OI this late in the Bluefin season. Thanks for the report. See ya soon.
I just got back last night and I'm already planning the next adventure.![]()
Only the truly ate up understand the maddness.
Bill.
