Mt. Airy Isaac Walton

have any of you gone to the thursday evening trap shoots at the Mt. Airy Isaac Walton League? i just found out they exist but really know nothing about the club up there.

Shoots are supposed to start at 6:30 PM, but that depends on what/when help shows up. Targets are, well just OK. Lighting for night shooting, ahhh, well if you have great eyes you'll see the bird somewhere. A much better club for practice and ATA shoots is Carroll County Gun Club, on Rt. 26, Eldersburg, MD. 410-795-9839 or www.carrollgun.com. Shoots are Wen. and Fri. nights, starting at 5:30 PM. This is a bird throwing club, all automatic traps with voice release. Squads run on time with little delay. Targets are excellent, as well as the lighting and food. Nice deck and resting area with big screen TV. Check out their web site and you'll have all the information you need.
