Turkey Season MD

Well, Have not been able to go but I live very close to MCkees so i drove by, it is very close to were i live and go on the way to work. Opening day MD Wow went by one spot had 5 cars then within a mile found another vehicle turned down another road and their was five more cars in the first public hunting area, drove by the other parking lot another five cars, then to the other 3. Continued the drive along the public hunting area and there were cars everywhere look like opening day in Mckee's deer season. WOW Wonder if anybody got one if not the birds left the coup and are in VA now!!!. Went by today and there was only very few cars. I think the turkeys will have a case of the shut mouth now if they are still there!

I went to MB last year and heard one gobble and then one shot...and that's all she wrote. Over the years I've flushed 2 turkeys. There doesn't seem to be a lot of birds around. I don't know does MB hold a good number of turkeys. Montgomery county normally has an average of 40 turkeys taken every year but I think it's mostly on private land. Thought about going this morning...glad I didn't...thanks for the report.
