My brother(lateriser) is in town so we decided to hit the woods again this morning for some turkey action. Went to the same area as the day before, where we couldnt get the birds to us, but today was different, he was roosting somewhere else. We got set up, through a couple of calls at him, we had to get up and move once just a little bit closer to him, heard that he had a couple hens with him. I kept calling, and all of a sudden there he is, I heard him before I saw him, but from where I was sitting the rise in the hill blinded me from him. LR was able to get the gun up and pull the trigger on the ole tom. 18lbs, 1"spur and a 1/2 inch spur (dont know what happended there) and a 9 inch beard. That was my brothers first gobbler he has ever killed, felt pretty good to call him in for Neil. I'll get the pics up later.
